**1. Assisting in the Procurement Process**
- Supporting the procurement officer/head in obtaining stuffs from suppliers.
- Prepare purchase orders (PO) and ensure all documents are complete.
- Request a quotation and compare prices, quality and delivery times.
**2.** **Supplier Management**
- Communicate with suppliers for orders, product inquiries and deliveries.
- Build good relationships with existing suppliers and assist in the process of selecting new suppliers.
- Review supplier performance in terms of consistency, on-time delivery and product quality.
**3. Inventory Management**
- Monitor stock levels in the store and make purchase recommendations based on minimum/maximum stock levels.
- Coordinate with the store/logistics department to ensure smooth delivery and receipt of goods.
**4. Documentation and Records**
- Ensure all purchase records are kept correctly (PO, invoice, receipt).
- Assist in internal audits and ensure compliance with company procurement procedures.
**5. Retail Operations Support**
- Ensure that purchased stuffs meet the needs of the branch or retail outlet.
- Work with sales or outlet teams to understand current and current needs.
**6. Cost Monitoring and Savings**
- Assist in price negotiations with suppliers to get the best value.
- Contribute to cost saving initiatives and procurement process efficiency.
**Required Abilities/Skills**
- Communication & negotiation skills.
- Time management and work prioritization.
- Basic knowledge of ERP systems or purchasing software.
- Thorough in documentation and record.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
