Trainer/assistant Trainer

**Job Summary**:
The Trainer develops and delivers training programs to equip manufacturing employees with the skills and knowledge needed to perform effectively and support the company’s success.

**Duties & Responsibilities**:

- **Develop Training Programs**: Work with SMEs and management to create training covering technical and soft skills.
- **Deliver Training**: Conduct engaging sessions using various methods like hands-on activities and multimedia.
- **Onboard New Hires**: Lead orientation on processes, safety, quality, and company culture.
- **Enhance Skills**: Identify skill gaps and provide targeted coaching and support.
- **Evaluate Training**: Assess training effectiveness and make improvements based on feedback.
- **Ensure Safety Compliance**: Partner with the safety team to deliver required compliance and safety training.
- **Maintain Records**: Track training attendance, progress, and report outcomes to management.
- **Pursue Continuous Learning**: Stay updated on industry trends to keep training programs current and effective.

**Minimum & Preferred Qualifications and Experience**:
**Minimum Qualifications**:

- Proven experience as a Manufacturing Trainer or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality standards.
- Skilled in instructional design and adult learning methods.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
- Ability to assess training effectiveness and use data for improvements.
- Proficient in LMS, training software, and multimedia tools.
- Training certifications and experience with Lean/Six Sigma are a plus.
- Safety training experience is advantageous.

**Preferred Qualifications**:
**Education**:
Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or Training and Development. Equivalent work experience may be considered.

**Physical requirements/Work Environment**

This position primarily works in an office environment. It requires frequent sitting, standing and walking. Daily use of a computer and other computing and digital devices is required. May stand for extended periods when facilitating meetings or walking in the facilities. Some local travel is necessary, so the ability to operate a motor vehicle and maintain a valid Driver’s license is required.
