1. Responsibility
- To develop and execute sourcing strategies for direct and indirect materials.
- To evaluate, select and manage key suppliers based on QLTC (Quality, Leadtime, Technology and Costs).
- To lead supplier negotiations for pricing, payment terms, and lead times.
- To maintain supplier relationship and monitor performance metrics and manage corrective action plans.
- To ensure compliance with company requirements, specifications, and applicable standards.
- To review and approve sourcing decisions for new projects and cost reduction initiatives.
- To collaborate with engineering, planning, quality, and finance to support operational needs.
- To monitor supply market trends and identify risks or opportunities.
- To participate in supplier audits and performance reviews.
- To manage supplier onboarding and maintain updated records in sourcing systems.
- To initiate and manage cost-down projects and value engineering programs.
- To ensure continuity of supply and manage escalations or disruptions.
- Execute other tasks assigned by the superior.

2. Authority
- Authorised to select and nominate suppliers based on sourcing strategy.
- Authorised to lead pricing negotiations and sign off on cost agreements.
- Authorised to approve sourcing decisions within defined delegation limits.
- Authorised to initiate supplier performance reviews and improvement plans.
- Authorised to collaborate and escalate critical supply chain issues to management.

3. Expectations of the company

Qualification

SPM and Above or related Professional Certificate

Requirement
- Minimum 2 years working experience in similar field / position.
- Supply chain and sourcing strategies.
- Problem solving mindset.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills.
- Analytical thinking.
- Proficient in English (written and spoken).
- Proficient in MS Excel and reporting tools.
- Capable of working under pressure and managing multiple priorities.
- Able to read, write and speak in English.

Pay: RM4,500.00 - RM9,000.00 per month
