Traffic Supervisor

**Job Summary**:
The Traffic Management Officer (TMO) is responsible for ensuring smooth, safe, and efficient traffic flow around construction or project areas. The role requires coordination with internal teams and external parties to minimize traffic disruptions and ensure the safety of the public and site personnel.

**Key Responsibilities**:
**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Monitor and manage daily traffic conditions around the construction or project site.
- Implement and follow approved Traffic Management Plans (TMP).
- Install, inspect, and maintain traffic signage, barriers, cones, and flagging systems.
- Coordinate with site teams during equipment or material deliveries to ensure mínimal disruption to public traffic.
- Report and respond to any traffic incidents or unsafe conditions near the site.
- Liaise with authorities (e.g., local council, police) as required to ensure compliance with traffic regulations.

**Secondary Responsibilities**:

- Assist Safety & Health Officer in enforcing site safety practices.
- Attend toolbox meetings and safety briefings.
- Record daily traffic activities and submit reports to supervisors.
- Provide assistance in controlling pedestrian and vehicular movements when needed.

**Job Requirements**:

- Possess valid **TMO Certificate** (Traffic Management Officer certification).
- Prior experience in traffic control or site operations preferred.
- Familiar with local traffic rules, TMP procedures, and safety guidelines.
- Physically fit and able to work in outdoor site conditions.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Willing to work in shifts, weekends, and public holidays if required.

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 24 months

Pay: RM1,453.33 - RM3,500.00 per month
