Position Name: Risk and Compliance Analyst, Business Analyst, Data Analyst

About the Role:
1. Identify data elements required from various data repositories in the bank.

2. Identify new data elements, if any, required from source systems

3. Provide the data computations logic, data transformation required, data flow and the overall functional design for all data elements required.

4. Create and maintain data mapping documentation

5. Prepare test cases and facilitate SIT and user acceptance testing phases.

6. Participate in meetings, work, and liaise with data management, risk management and banking business teams

Job Responsibilities:
1. Prepare data mappings between source and target systems and work with ETL teams in translating them into ETL mappings.

2. Responsible for preparing test cases relating to new requirements or changes relating to risk and regulatory reporting and data aggregation.

3. Prepare and maintain Functional Specification Documents, Data Mapping, Test Cases, and other project documentation.

Job Experience required:
1. Total Experience of 5-8 years required

2. Experience of 2-4 years required working for Banks, either directly or as clients/customers as a Business Analyst.

Education required: - Bachelor’s degree

Knowledge required:
1. Possess a good understanding of the banking domain, banking products

2. Good understanding of data structures and source systems used in a bank

3. Good knowledge of data structures such as 3NF, Start Schema and Adhoc structures supporting business requirements will be an added advantage

4. Working knowledge of preparing data mapping and liaising with ETL teams and working knowledge of SQL
