JOB VACANCY

POSITION - PURCHASING MANAGER

LOCATION - KLANG UTARA, PORT KLANG

SALARY - RM 5000-7000

**Responsibilities**:
Represent companies in negotiating contracts and formulating policies with suppliers.

Continuously source for new suppliers

Managing supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.

Maintaining the supplier database, purchase records, and related documentation.

Visit local & overseas suppliers to improve overall delivery time and quality

Liaise with supplier on sample development and defect part replacement

Work with R&D in new parts development and defining suppliers for the new parts

Execute order planning, PO issuance to supplier, and ensure timeliness delivery from supplier

Execute shipment consolidation and RFQ issuance to supplier

Coordinating with inventory control to determine and manage inventory needs.

Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications.

Preparing cost estimates and managing budgets.

Negotiate and cost confirmation with vendors for new contract price review.

Analyse product costing and exposure to global cost benchmarking.

Update the respective departments on all parts and raw materials estimated time of arrival

**Requirements**:
Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia

Required skill(s): Microsoft Office, ERP software.

A self starter and can work as a team and work independently

Good interpersonal and communication skills in dealing with all levels of management and operational employees
