Lab Technician

Work Scope Job Description
**1) Testing**
- **Raw Materials & Products**:

- Collect sample, inspect quality & report
- Execute regularly testing on materials and premix products
- Report regularly to Assistant QC

Manager & Lab Engineer on materials and production quality
- **Mix Design & Recipe**:

- Sample preparation & testing
- Prepare sample and execute testing as requested by Lab
Engineer & Assistant QC Manager
- Provide assistance to Lab Engineer
& Assistant QC Manager
- **Plant Trial & Trial Lay**:

- Sample preparation & testing
- Prepare sample and execute testing as requested by Lab
Engineer & Assistant QC Manager
- Provide assistance to Lab Engineer
& Assistant QC Manager
- **Specification & Annual Audit**:

- Provide assistance to Lab Engineer &
Assistant QC Manager

**2) Research**
- **New Material / Product**:

- Sample preparation & testing
- Prepare sample and execute testing as requested by Lab
Engineer & Assistant QC Manager
- Provide assistance to Lab Engineer
& Assistant QC Manager
- **Special Mix Project**:

- Sample preparation & testing
- Prepare sample and execute testing as requested by Lab
Engineer & Assistant QC Manager
- Provide assistance to Lab Engineer
& Assistant QC Manager
- **Complaint / Failure Investigation**:

- Site visit, collect sample & testing
- Conduct site visit on the site with issue for inspection

- **Presentation / Launching**:

- Provide assistance to Lab Engineer &

**3) Equipment**
- **Upkeep & Maintenance**:

- Routine check & upkeep
- Check regularly on lab equipment status & consistency
- Conduct regular maintenance on lab equipment
- **Calibration & Compliance**
- **New Equipment / Method**
- **4) Procurement**
- **Sourcing (Materials / Parts /**
- **Services)**
- **Quotation Analysing & Ordering**
- **Parts Monthly Stock Count &**
- **Report**

**5) Training & Improvement**
- **In-House Training Programme**:

- Participate in both Intradepartmental &
Interdepartmental training
- **Improvement Programme**:

- Participate dialogue session
- Provide recommendation for improvement on operation
- Address issue faced on operation
- **HSSE Compliance**
- **6) Ad Hoc**
- **Ad Hoc Assignment & Task**:

- Provide assistance to Lab Engineer &
Assistant QC Manager & Plant Manager

**Job Types**: Permanent, Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month
