Responsibilities
- Provide overall design and governance of M1 API/microservice framework, to complement the core BSS / OSS ecosystems
- Perform business requirement analysis and do technical assessment to identify functional & non-functional requirements.
- Work closely with architecture team, developers, component leads and other stakeholders to align the requirements and technical design of the solution
- Provide leadership in implementation of microservices using JavaScript, Typescript on Azure Functions, CI/CD and other relevant tools
- Advise on best practice implementation based on the architectural principle
- Define, configure, and maintain API definitions and Database tables design with the developers
- Documentation and maintenance of microservices catalogue (high level design, low level design, API spec, sequence diagram and other necessary information required to support the platform and project)
- Takes initiative to improve current state of things and adaptable to embrace new changes
- Manage the roadmap of microservices within M1 Digital Office

**Requirements**:

- Min 10 years of overall experience in professional IT/Software Engineering
- Familiar with common enterprise integration patterns
- Experience in designing and implementing services using Azure Functions, JavaScript or Typescript
- Good understanding of system design in terms of security, scalability, availability and performance
- Have experience in CI/CD tools such as Gitlab, Sonarqube
- Good understanding of internet technologies and protocols including HTTP/HTTPS, TLS, FTP, SSH
- Well versed with web technologies such as RESTful web services, SOAP, JSON, XML, HTML5
- Experience in database technology in both SQL and noSQL - such as MariaDB, Cosmos DB, MongoDB
- Familiar with Agile methodology in a large-scale projects and project management tools such as JIRA, Confluence
- Strong interpersonal skills, with high level of integrity (takes accountability of work and good attitude toward teamwork)
- Experience in working for Telco based projects and understanding on TMForum SID, Application Map and eTOM processes would be added advantage
