Production Supervisor

**Job Title**: Production Supervisor - Pultrusion Line
**Location**: Port Klang, Selangor ( TELUK GONG )
**Reports To**: Factory Manager
**Supervises**: Pultrusion Line Workers (including foreign workers)
**Working Hours**: Monday - Friday 830am-500pm
**Over Time**: No,

**Job Objective**:
To supervise day-to-day production activities on the pultrusion line, ensuring timely output, quality control, proper material usage, and on-time reporting to the Factory Manager. This role involves managing production workers (primarily foreign labor) and handling daily production data, stock movement, and factory documentation.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum 2 years experience in production or supervisory role in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience managing or working with foreign labor is an advantage.
- Able to communicate instructions clearly to workers.
- Proficient in recording and analyzing production data (Excel, manual log, etc.).
- Able to read technical documents and basic engineering drawings.
- Comfortable working in a fiberglass factory environment (mild skin irritation may occur); PPE will be provided.
- Able to work independently, highly responsible, and able to work closely with Factory Manager.

**Main Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Supervise daily operations on the pultrusion production line to meet output, quality, and timeline targets.
- Coordinate and oversee work by foreign workers, ensuring tasks are understood and executed correctly.
- Ensure compliance with daily work instructions (WI) and that the team meets quality and productivity expectations.
- Assist the Factory Manager in translating instructions and aligning workers on daily plans.
- Monitor and update material usage, stock movement, and raise PRNs to avoid shortages.
- Record and submit daily production data (material usage, output, wastage, etc.)
- Conduct monthly stock count and assist in inventory reporting.
- Maintain proper 5S practices and discipline on the shop floor.
- Report any production delays, equipment issues, or worker-related concerns to the Factory Manager.
- Help troubleshoot minor machine or quality issues with guidance from engineering/maintenance teams.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives in production methods and worker efficiency.

**Authority**:

- Lead and assign daily tasks to production operators.
- Verify completed jobs and escalate quality or performance issues.
- Review and provide feedback on daily production records.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
