**Job Title**: Quality Operator (Based in Penang, Malaysia)
**Location**: Penang, Malaysia
**Reports To**: Quality Supervisor / Quality Manager
**Employment Type**: Full-Time

**About the Role**:
We are looking for a **Quality Operator** to join our team in **Penang**. In this role, you will be essential in ensuring that our products meet internal quality standards before reaching customers. You will perform visual and functional inspections, support continuous improvement efforts, and collaborate with other departments to maintain high-quality standards across multiple sites in Malaysia.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Perform routine inspections on lenses, edging, and stock items
- Conduct quality control tests and record results accurately
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and work instructions
- Assist in analyzing defective products and identifying root causes
- Report non-conformities and help implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Maintain cleanliness and proper calibration of inspection equipment
- Support customer returns analysis and provide feedback
- Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives
- Work closely with production, warehouse, and lab teams to ensure consistent quality

**Requirements**:

- SPM or Certificate/Diploma in a technical or quality-related field
- 1-2 years of experience in quality inspection (preferably in manufacturing or optical industry)
- Basic understanding of quality tools and inspection techniques
- Strong attention to detail and ability to spot visual/measurement defects
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Willing to work in a fast-paced environment with rotating shifts (if required)

- Inspection accuracy rate
- First Pass Yield (FPY)
- Number of non-conformities identified
- Response time to quality issues
- Compliance with SOPs and internal standards
