**Manage & Develop People**
- Manage a team of engineers, build up a creative team and demonstrate technical leadership such as patents and technical papers.
- Develop and provide technical training for engineers.
- Coach and provide career development, identify strength, and create development plan for the engineers.

**Technology & NPI Product Transfer**
- Ensure smooth transition from new process development, 1st qualification success, small volume production launch to high volume manufacturing.
- Lead the team in the development and qualification of new packaging process, material, equipment, and technology solutions to meet BU NPI requirements.
- Perform process TRA, risk mitigation execution and process recipe readiness prior Silicon arrives and ensure 1st pass rate.
- Closely teamwork with cross function team, such as package design, test, PIE, site process/ equipment, QA, etc. to ensure successful transfer of NPI to pilot production and High-Volume Manufacturing.
- Qualify new process/technology, establish for product NPI and implementation for HVM.
- Review & implement SOP, Quality Control Plan, PFMEA and provide proper documentation for HVM readiness.
- Understand the capabilities of the internal sites and work with the Global team on packaging solutions that will be transferable while leveraging advances

**Technical Leadership**
- Lead the team for BIC yield, sustain and improve yield through continues yield improvement activities and projects. Provide guidance to team for defect elimination and continuous improvement.
- Lead the team for BIC cost, to identify cost reduction opportunity projects, value engineering for low-cost process/ material, improve cost of scrap through yield improvement.
- Technical leadership and lead the team understand the future trend, technology and capabilities required for future packaging solutions, work with Internal teams to put in place new capabilities to enhance process performance.
- Provide packaging solutions on time to meet company and customer needs
- Define, develop, and establish process capabilities, strategy and roadmap to meet product requirements.
- Work with internal & external equipment/ material team on new packaging technology/ material/ capability/ equipment requirement

**Requirements**:

- PhD/Master's Degree/ Bachelor's Degree in Materials, Chemical, Mechanical, Electrical & Electronic Engineering.
- Minimum 2-3 years managerial experience with strong understanding of backend assembly processes.
- Experienced in leading NPI qual success and HVM transfer.
- Good knowledge of data analysis, process characterization, problem solving and management skill.
- Knowledgeable in IC Packaging Assembly Process Flow and process engineering know
- how.
- Self-motivated and adaptable to Micron's fast paced and dynamic work environment effective in balancing priorities between near term deliverables and longer-term opportunities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with ability to convey the message clearly and sharply both locally and globally.
- Team-building skills, ability to delegate, motivate, and assist direct report in reaching their goals
