**Roles & Responsibilities**:
- Plan and control the Company's financial and management accounting systems.
- Oversee all financial, accounting, and treasury activities, improving control procedures and reporting
- Manage the Company's tax affairs efficiently
- Analyze financial data, cash flow, budgets, and credit control, reporting findings to Management.
- Prepare and present financial reports
- Assess the financial impact of operational decisions, new businesses, and acquisitions.
- Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards, and prepare statutory accounts in accordance with FRS/IFRS
- Liaise with banks, negotiate financial facilities, and maintain long-term relationships.
- Manage external auditors & tax agents to complete statutory deadlines
- Act as key person on legal matters & work closely with external lawyer
- Ensure corporate governance and adherence to Standard Operating Procedure
- Perform additional duties as assigned by superiors
**Requirements**:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, ACCA, MICPA, CPA or related discipline
- Minimum 5 years of financial and management accounting experience
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or similar role, preferably in the FMCG industry
- Preferable with 3 years’ experience in Big Four auditing firms
- Strong understanding of cross-border e-commerce finance, taxation, and compliance requirements will be added advantage
- Proven expertise in financial reporting, accounting operations, internal controls, and strategic financial analysis
- Well versed with FRS/IFRS and Costing models
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
- Proficiency in accounting software, and data analysis tools
- Strong leadership, communication, and team management skills
Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
