**About the Role**:
As a CBRE Audio Visual Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of audio-visual equipment. This job is part of the Engineering and Technical Services job function. They are responsible for providing support, preventive maintenance, and repairs on equipment and systems.

**What You’ll Do**:

- Operate all audio-visual equipment during events with the aim to provide high-quality technical standards.
- Ensure that the equipment is tested and in correct working order before use or an event. Investigate faults and recommend further actions to find solutions.
- Coordinate integration with specialty equipment as needed. Responsible for cord management & safe setup.
- Liaise with client management regarding the exact requirements for events. This will include assistance with PowerPoint presentations, audio, and videoconferences.
- Manage AV inventory and preventative maintenance schedule.
- Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
- Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
- Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.

**What You’ll Need**:

- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 1-2 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
- Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset
