**Job Title**:

- Manager Procurement, IT Category
- Reports To
- Senior Manager, Procurement & Strategic Management Category - Indirect

**Role Purpose**:

- Lead a team of procurement professionals in support of MAG enterprise procurement activities including development of strategies to maximise the savings and value sourcing in order the achieve company's business plan with etiques and integrity, focusing on IT category spend items.

**Key Accountability**:

- Manage category supplier, and set strategy to identify opportunities for cost reduction, supply risk reduction, greater efficiency and quality improvement for the category.
- Monitor the contract development between vendors, business units and legal team on contractual terms and conditions and resolve and issues arises.
- Actively contribute to the standardisation and enforcement of procurement management standards and process, and governance best practices.
- Understands customer expectations and requirements and incorporates them into sourcing strategies; establishes and maintains effective relationships; understands that procurement is a service function.
- Provide leadership, coach and develop staff within the section to have sufficient and competent knowledge and skills to carry out their responsibilities.

**Qualifications & Working Experience**:

- Bachelor in Business Management or related field. Any field, preferably in Engineering, Supply Chain Management with at least 8 years working experience, 5 years in supply chain/procurement and 3 years in managerial role.

**Skills & Knowledge**:

- Comprehensive understanding of end-to-end procurement process, including 7-steps sourcing process.
- Well verse with Procurement non-compliance process.
- Able to demonstrate, manage stakeholder and interact effectively with senior leadership. With strong ability to build relationships and networks with multiple Business Units and good industry knowledge.
- Skilful and expose in SAP, Ariba & Project Management.
- Ability to innovate and produce high quality results and procurement solutions on a consistent basis.
- Advanced experience of using Microsoft Office.
- Excellent Negotiation skill with good people management. With outstanding human relations, negotiating and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Excellent analytical, process/project management skills.
