A4 Chargeman

**Job Overview**:
We are hiring a qualified and experienced **Chargeman A4** to manage and maintain **Low Voltage (LV)** electrical systems at our project sites. This role involves both supervisory and hands-on technical responsibilities to ensure **compliance, safety, and efficiency** in electrical works and building operations.

**Key Responsibilities:Electrical Installation & Supervision**
- Supervise and perform LV electrical installation works at project sites.
- Oversee and inspect subcontractor works to ensure quality and safety compliance.
- Collaborate with project engineers, site supervisors, and safety officers on all electrical scopes of work.

**Testing, Commissioning & Maintenance**
- Conduct testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
- Ensure safe and efficient operation of all electrical systems within the property.
- Troubleshoot and perform corrective maintenance on electrical installations.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance and implement electrical improvements.
- Respond promptly to electrical breakdowns and emergencies.

**Compliance & Safety**
- Ensure all electrical works comply with Suruhanjaya Tenaga regulations, project specifications, and safety standards.
- Maintain compliance with all local regulatory and safety standards.
- Conduct site inspections and report findings to management.

**Documentation & Reporting**
- Maintain accurate logbooks, testing records, inspection reports, and maintenance logs.
- Ensure proper documentation and timely reporting of all electrical tasks and issues.

**Team Leadership & Support**
- Supervise and lead the maintenance team, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard.
- Support overall building and site operations as needed.
- Assist in planning and executing energy efficiency improvements.
- Undertake any other tasks as assigned by the Electrical Engineer.

**Requirements**:

- Valid **Chargeman A4 Certificate** (Suruhanjaya Tenaga).
- Minimum **3-5 years’ experience** in electrical construction or M&E maintenance (preferably in buildings, and complexes).
- Strong knowledge of LV systems, wiring methods, and electrical protection.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and single-line diagrams.
- Good safety awareness and understanding of construction site practices.
- Leadership and team supervision skills are an added advantage.
