5-axis Vertical Machinist

**Responsibilities**:

- Key Responsibilities:

- 1. Set up and operate 5 -Axis CNC Mill-Turn Machining Centers, operate various types of 5-axis CNC Milling machining centers in accordance with company policy, procedures and time standards.
- 2. Expert level on CNC machine G-code and M-code programming.
- 3. Able to handle Controller Fanuc 310i or higher.
- 4. In charge of implementing and executing work-holding, clamping, zero-point positioning concepts in order to achieve the overall company concept of Single-Minute Exchange of Dies (SMED).
- 5. In-charge of operating Erowa ERC80 Robot Workpiece Loading System.
- 6. Responsible to produce high precision parts with tolerances ranges of ±10 µm.
- 7. To train Malaysian trainees and junior machinist. Transfer knowledge about 5 axis CNC Mill-Turn operations, tooling, work-holding, advanced use of measuring equipment.
- 8. To perform any other task assigned by the management from time to time.
- Job Specifications:
- Minimum Diploma in mechanical engineering and 5 years of working experience in complex 3-axis or 5-axis machine shop environment.
- Advanced experience and knowledge on CNC Machining Centers.
- Extensive experience in producing high precision tooling and machine parts with tolerances up to +/- 2 micron
- Ability to program in Mastercam is an added advantage.
- Able to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Able to communicate technical instructions effectively to all level within organization.
- Able to work on shift.
