Key Responsibilities:
- Operate, maintain, and optimize boiler systems to meet operational and safety requirements.
- Conduct routine inspections and diagnostics to identify potential issues in boiler systems.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boiler components, including burners, pumps, and valves.
- Analyze boiler performance and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory standards related to boiler operations.
- Develop and maintain maintenance schedules, logs, and documentation for boiler systems.
- Provide technical guidance and training to plant personnel on boiler operation and maintenance.
- Assist in the commissioning and start-up of new boilers or modifications.
Qualifications:
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in boiler operations and maintenance, preferably in power plants or industrial settings.
- In-depth knowledge of boiler systems, including fire-tube and water-tube boilers.
- Familiarity with safety regulations, codes, and standards (e.g., ASME Boiler Code, OSHA).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with boiler efficiency and emissions control technologies.
- Knowledge of auxiliary equipment such as feedwater systems, economizers, and superheaters.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment
**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 24 months
Pay: RM3,700.00 - RM6,973.31 per month
