**Responsibilities**:

- Demonstrate an advanced level of clinical knowledge and skills relating to oncology

nursing to provide clinical and professional guidance to the team.
- Ensure continuity of a high standard of evidence-based nursing care for patients and

their families
- Ensure comprehensive health assessment of patients
- Ensure documentation is aligned with current legislation requirements
- Safe handling and administration of chemotherapy and other cancer treatments as per

protocols to patients
- Educate and support patient/family throughout continuum of care
- Perform phlebotomy, cannulation and insertion of venous access devices
- Provide health education of chemotherapy to patients and family
- Good communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Work closely with the managers and organisation to ensure the provision of safe and

efficient services
- To maintain best standards of practice in accordance Ministry of Health regulations

**Requirements**:

- Possess a valid APC
- Post-basic in Oncology Nursing will be desirable
- Minimum of three (3) years of working experience in oncology care is required
