Graphic Designer Visual Merchandising

**Freelance/ Contract (Mid of Jan 2025 - Mid of June 2025) - 5 months contract**

The job involves creating world-class marketing materials in static or motion visuals for a variety of medium such as social media assets, ATL/TTL advertisements, brochures, web graphics, retail outlet, event collateral, sales/corporate presentation, and other related items in the creative field.

**As part of the marketing team, the role requires collaborating with marketing executives, managers, and operation department to provide design and conceptualization solutions for the deliverables.**

Understanding the customer demographics is essential to develop the appropriate look and feel for all promotional and event-related materials.

The job also involves monitoring the progress of planning, conceptualizing, and implementing creative visual merchandising ideas that effectively attract public interest and enhance the company's overall image.

**Additionally, the role requires to adhere to brand guidelines, safeguard collateral quality, and consistent across ad formats, dimensions, and languages.**

**Support in**:

- retail campaign graphic design (Marketing, branding, etc)**
**- Retail shooting (KOL, reel content and outdoor shooting)**
**- Retail visual merchandising set up**

**Our goal is to use visual merchandising to convert window shoppers into prospects, drive branding and sales objectives and maximize profitability.**

**Responsibilities**:

- Designing and producing various marketing and branding materials.
- Staying up to date with the latest design trends and technologies to ensure that our designs and merchandising are current and innovative.
- Demonstrable visual design skills with a strong retail merchandising portfolio.
- Support marketing efforts by developing design that cater for both print and digital needs (e.g. magazine ad, posters, banners, vouchers, brochures, packaging and many more).
- Work closely with marketing head to craft, conceptualise and execute persuasive, effective and impactful thematic, seasonal graphic design visual work to support the brand’s marketing endeavours. Always eager to explore different styles of visual presentations to achieve the best possible visual results.
- Support marketing and media campaign by way of media gift sourcing and packaging to ensure that each media unboxing by social influencers/ media is Instagram-worthy and presentable.
- Produce and edit short burst marketing video content, gifs, etc. to enhance consumers’ experience from the marketing and branding perspective.
- Support marketing colleague in photography work, if needed on an ad-hoc basis.

**Requirements**:

- Education Requirement: Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma or Degree in Graphic Design/Art/Creative Multimedia or any design related studies.
- At least 4 years proven experience as a graphic designer in luxury field, with a strong portfolio showcasing your design skills and creativity.
- To be efficient at work with high attention to detail, able to organize and time manage, meet deadlines, and ad hoc request.
- Ability to understand the business and create marketing collaterals that represent the brands’ identity.
- Strong understanding use of typography.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- A self-starter and independent innovator, able to maximize use of resources on hand and think out of the box.
- Possesses good research and observation skills, is an active user of social media, stay up to current and future creative trends.
- Good understanding of format use in digital or print, well verse with layout design.
- Must be proficient with Adobe Creative Cloud (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, & Premiere Pro) and videography (Premier Pro, After Effect, DaVinci).
- Fluent in multi languages such as English and Malay. Language skill in Mandarin will be an advantage.
- Having great passion in the creative field, open-minded, carry a positive attitude, adaptable to a unique work environment as well as other employees.
- Work remotely from KL, twice per week attend to retail outlet.

Pay: From RM3,000.00 per month
