**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**

1. To provide clinical and managerial leadership and act as a support person to the nursing staff.

2. To lead the team to achieve ECON's 4 Zero Clinical Quality Indicators through nursing care plans and audits:

- Zero Medication Error
- Zero Home Acquired Infection
- Zero Fall
- Zero Home Developed Bedsore

3. To cultivate a positive, productive workplace culture through staff's engagement, healthy communication and emphasis on team spirit.

4. To conduct clinical trainings and foster lifelong learning spirit among the nursing staff.

5. To deputize the Nurse-In-Charge while he/ she is off-duty.

6. To verify consumable chart against stock card with assistance from the staff nurses.

7. To do the nursing care plan for all residents and audit the nursing documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency and completeness.

8. To liaise closely with the respective hospital, resident’s next-of-kins on the admission and/ or daily medical appointment of all the potential/ existing residents.

9. To liaise closely and attend to our Home’s Doctor as and when necessary.

10. To attend and manage sponsors' and residents' feedback and look into ways to improve service quality.

11. To hold training session on first aid and nursing procedures for emergencies to all junior staff. Eg. the Junior Staff Nurse and Healthcare Assistant

12. To teach all new/old staff on the correct usage and maintenance of nursing equipment needed in case of emergency. Eg. Mucus Suction Pump, Oxygen Therapy Unit. I/V Drip etc.

13. To be 24 hours “on call” basis and to attend to emergencies at all times.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Possess Diploma / Bachelor in Nursing
- Good customer service, a caring and calm personality
- Good communication skills
- Familiar with nursing procedures, healthcare field and medical terminology

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,833.49 per month
