Gelato Café Supervisor

**Position Overview**:
We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Cafe Supervisor to support the Cafe Manager in the daily operations of our gelato cafe. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth service, maintaining high standards of quality, and fostering a positive team environment. **Responsibilities**:

- **Support Daily Operations**: Assist the Cafe Manager with opening and closing, ensuring smooth workflow during shifts.
- **Lead & Guide Team**: Supervise Gelato All-Stars and baristas, offering support and motivation.
- **Ensure Excellent Service**: Promote a customer-focused environment, address inquiries, and resolve issues professionally.
- **Maintain Cafe Standards**: Ensure cleanliness, organization, and a welcoming atmosphere in the cafe.
- **Assist with Inventory**: Monitor stock levels and communicate needs to the Cafe Manager.
- **Manage Transactions**: Operate the POS system accurately and handle payments.
- **Support Team Training**: Help onboard new team members on procedures and service standards.
- **Enforce Policies**: Ensure adherence to all company guidelines and regulations.
- **Event Support**: Assist with the setup, operation, and breakdown of our gelato station at pop-up markets, weddings, and other off-site events, working alongside other team members.
- **Foster Team Spirit**: Contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.
- **Perform Delegated Tasks**: Take on other responsibilities as assigned by the Cafe Manager.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a F&B service role, preferably in a cafe or similar environment.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a team and demonstrate basic leadership qualities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-focused attitude.
- Fluency in English is essential. Proficiency in Mandarin and/or Bahasa Malaysia is a significant advantage.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices.
- Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, and to travel to off-site events as needed.
- A valid driver's license and access to transportation may be an advantage for event support.
- A genuine passion for gelato and providing excellent customer experiences is a plus

**Pay**:

- RM2,200.00 - RM2,600.00 per month
