Draught Person

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

The Junior Draught Person reports to the Senior Draught Man and is responsible for preparation detail layout drawing for submission.

I. **DAILY TASK**
- Develop detailed layout drawings and specifications.
- Coordinate with and consult other workers for design layout, typical, and detail drawings (Project Engineer (PE), Supervisor and Client) and to resolve design or other problems.
- Review and analyse specifications, ISO drawing and related data to access factor affecting space management and the procedures and instructions to be followed.
- Position instructions and comment onto drawings.
- Modify and revise drawings based on comment by PE or client.
- To prepare layout drawing and any related drawing to submit.
- Work together with PE and QAQC to get the clarification on site installation. (Routine of piping and quantity Point Of Connection.

II. **RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Use CAD software to produced detailed drawings include the dimensions and what fittings will use on site installation.
- Collaborate with PIC of space management (Client), Sub Contractor and PE of the project.
- Revise drawings and layout to accommodate changes and enhancement.
- Accommodate safety procedures and issues in installation and construction drawings.
- Assists and coordinate with Designer and Engineer.
- Draft and prepare layout drawings of the given X-Ref file.

**QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS**
- Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Drafting & Design.
- Fresh Grade are encouraged to apply.
- Be honest and trustworthy
- Demonstrate sound work ethics
- Able to multitask.
- To produce Engineering drawing
- Responsible in collecting piping data, isometric drawings, tracing piping as per existing P&ID and drawings, updating P&ID and drawings.
- To finalize drawings i.e. to amend engineering drawings based on the comment from Client, issue final copy of As-built drawings including P&ID, isometric, layout plan

**SKILLS REQUIRED**:

- Good in English & Bahasa Malaysia communication and writing skills.
- Able to work independently without supervision through the process.
- Understanding of Basic Engineering, Drawings and Project site environments.

**Job Type**: Contract

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
