Our client, located in **Kota Kemuning** is a leading manufacturer of high-quality cakes, bread, and pastries, dedicated to delivering fresh and delicious baked goods to consumers and businesses alike. With a commitment to excellence, they specialize in supplying premium bakery products to cafes, restaurants, and retailers, both locally and internationally. They are currently seeking an **R&D Manager**to support their operations in Malaysia.

**Job Overview**:
Lead product development and quality improvement for frozen bakery products. Employ expertise to drive innovation, work with cutting-edge technologies, and shape the future of baking processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Spearhead the R&D department, setting strategic goals to drive product development and quality improvement in frozen bakery products.
- Work closely with corporate clients to develop custom OEM frozen bakery products that meet their unique needs.
- Maintain product integrity and safety by adhering to industry standards and regulations.
- Introduce and manage innovative technologies, with a focus on full automation.
- Develop and oversee R&D projects that enhance product quality and efficiency, while effectively managing budgets and resources.
- Collaborate with production, quality assurance, and marketing teams to ensure market relevance and product quality.
- Monitor industry developments to keep the company competitive through continuous innovation.

**What We’re Looking For**:

- Degree in Food Science, Bakery Science, or a related field preferred.
- 5+ years in the baking or frozen food industry, with a focus on R&D.
- Deep knowledge of baking processes, automation, and frozen product development.
- High attention to detail and ability to interpret data for product formulation improvements.
- Strong organizational and project management skills to guide the R&D team effectively.
- Excellent collaboration abilities to work with internal teams and external partners.
- Proficiency in English, Malay, and Mandarin to effectively communicate with diverse stakeholders and customers.
