Arup is seeking an experienced Associate/Associate Principal to head our Property (Central) Structures team in Kuala Lumpur, driving technical excellence, business growth, and team development. This is a strategic leadership role that blends design expertise, client engagement, and operational management within a globally respected firm.

**The Opportunity**
- Lead, manage, and grow a high-performing structural engineering team focused on property and tall building projects
- Drive business development by identifying opportunities, building client relationships, and strengthening market presence
- Guide the delivery of complex structural designs and ensure quality, sustainability, and compliance in all project outputs
- Mentor and develop junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and high-impact team culture
- Represent Arup at industry events and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders across disciplines and geographies

**Is this role right for you?**
- A degree in Structural Engineering and registration as a PEPC with the Board of Engineers, Malaysia
- Extensive experience in the structural design of tall buildings and consultancy leadership
- Proven commercial acumen with the ability to drive profitability and identify market trends
- Strong communication and strategic thinking skills, with experience influencing clients and stakeholders
- A solid understanding of the Malaysian market and a strong professional network within the industry
