**Purpose of the role**:
The Data Management Assistant at Asian Trails Malaysia is responsible for supporting the data management activities of the company. This role involves collecting, organizing, and maintaining data related to various aspects of the company's operations. The Data Management Executive will work closely with the Data Management team to ensure accurate and timely data entry, data validation, and data quality control. This position requires a keen attention to detail and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

**You will play an important role to**:
Data Entry: Accurately enter data into the company's databases and information systems, ensuring completeness and correctness.

Data Validation: Perform regular data validation checks to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the data. Identify and resolve any discrepancies or errors.

Data Maintenance: Update and maintain existing data records, including customer information, supplier details, and product data.

Data Cleanup: Identify and rectify duplicate, incomplete, or inconsistent data entries, ensuring data quality and reliability.

Reporting: Assist in generating routine and ad-hoc reports based on the data collected, using appropriate tools and software.

Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of data management processes and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and ensure consistency.

Data Analysis: Support the Data Management team in analyzing data trends, patterns, and anomalies to identify areas for improvement or optimization.

Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including IT, Sales, Contracting, and E-Commerce, to gather and exchange data as required.

Data Privacy and Security: Adhere to data privacy and security policies, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and guidelines.

Continuous Improvement: Suggest and implement process enhancements to improve data management efficiency, accuracy, and reliability.

**To be successful in this role, you will need to have**:

- Diploma/ Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Information Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
- Proven experience in data entry or data management roles, preferably within the **travel and tourism industry.**:

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and analyze data effectively.
- Proficiency in using data management software and tools, such as Excel, databases, and reservation systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

**Salary**: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
