Assist in the preparation of accurate cost estimates for construction and renovation projects based on drawings, specifications, and other relevant documentation.
- Assist in the tendering process by preparing and analyzing tender documents, conducting cost comparisons, and making recommendations to the senior quantity surveyors.
- Assist in the procurement of materials, subcontractors, and services required for construction projects, ensuring value for money and compliance with project specifications.
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction phase, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or variations from the budget. Assist in the preparation of cost reports and forecasts for project stakeholders.
- Take-off quantities from drawings and specifications to facilitate accurate pricing and billing. Assist in the preparation of bills of quantities and schedules of rates as required.
- Assist in the administration of contracts, including the review and negotiation of contractual terms and conditions, as well as the preparation of interim valuations and final accounts.
- Work closely with project teams to ensure that construction works are carried out to the required quality standards and specifications.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation related to quantity surveying activities, including correspondence, reports, and contracts.
- Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices in quantity surveying. Pursue professional development opportunities to enhance knowledge and skills.

**Qualifications and Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Strong analytical and numerical skills.
- Proficiency in quantity surveying software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Understanding of construction methods, materials, and processes.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.

**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
