**POSITION**:VIDEOGRAPHER & EDITOR

EDESS Education Development and Solutions Specialist Sdn Bhd is seeking a creative, detail-oriented **Videographer & Editor** to join our IT & Digital Creative Department. This role is ideal for individuals passionate about visual storytelling, educational content, and producing high-quality digital media that supports innovative learning experiences for kindergarten, primary, and secondary school students.

You will play a key role in creating engaging educational videos, promotional materials, and digital content that reflect EDESS’s commitment to transforming education through creativity and technology.

**RESPONSIBILITIES**

**Content Creation & Filming**
- Plan, shoot, and produce high-quality video content for educational and promotional purposes.
- Collaborate with educators, content writers, and designers to bring educational concepts to life through engaging visuals.
- Operate cameras, lighting, and audio equipment effectively during shoots.
- Ensure all footage aligns with EDESS’s brand identity and educational objectives.

**Video Editing & Post-Production**
- Edit raw footage into compelling and polished videos with strong visual storytelling.
- Add motion graphics, captions, sound effects, and music to enhance viewer engagement.
- Maintain consistency in tone, color grading, and style across all video materials.
- Deliver videos optimized for various platforms (YouTube, social media, web, and presentations).

**Creative Direction & Collaboration**
- Contribute fresh ideas for new video formats and educational storytelling approaches.
- Work closely with the design and content teams to ensure creative alignment.
- Stay up to date with the latest video trends, tools, and editing techniques.

**Asset Management**
- Organize and maintain video archives and digital assets systematically.
- Manage storage, backup, and version control for all video projects.

**REQUIREMENTS**
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Film Production, Multimedia, Creative Arts, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in videography and video editing.
- Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects; experience with Final Cut Pro is an advantage
- Skilled in operating video, lighting, and audio equipment.
- Strong sense of visual composition, pacing, and storytelling.
- Creative mindset with an eye for detail, color, and emotion in storytelling.
- Passionate about creating educational and meaningful content for children and students.
- Able to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of animation or motion graphics is an advantage.
- Able to leverage AI tools for video editing, content enhancement, and workflow optimization (e.g., AI-assisted color grading, automated captioning, and generative visual effects).
