IT Executive

**Position Overview**:
**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Network Administration**:

- Manage and maintain LAN, WAN, intranet, and internet infrastructure.
- Perform network address assignment, routing table configurations, and management of routing protocols such as ISIS, OSPF, and BGP.
- Implement, monitor, and maintain network security, performance, and reliability.
- **Server & System Administration**:

- Administer and maintain various servers, including file servers, VPN gateways, and intrusion detection systems.
- Oversee deployment and maintenance of desktop computers, printers, phones, routers, switches, and firewalls.
- **Security & Software Management**:

- Regularly perform security updates, patches, and software deployment to ensure secure and up-to-date systems.
- Implement security measures to safeguard sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
- Perform user access control management and network authentication procedures.
- **Troubleshooting & Support**:

- Provide technical support for hardware and software-related issues across the network and systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues in a timely manner to minimize downtime and disruption.
- Maintain and troubleshoot communication devices such as smartphones, personal digital assistants (PDAs), and IP-based communication devices.
- **Collaboration & Documentation**:

- Work closely with other IT team members to ensure seamless integration and operation of network systems and IT infrastructure.
- Maintain proper documentation for network configurations, updates, and troubleshooting steps.
- Provide regular updates and reports on network performance, incidents, and improvements.
- **Technology & Innovation**:

- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in network administration and IT security.
- Recommend and implement improvements to existing systems and infrastructure to enhance network performance and security.

**Required Qualifications & Skills**:

- **Education**:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- **Experience**:

- At least 2-3 years of experience in network administration or a related IT role, with hands-on experience in managing and troubleshooting network infrastructure.
- **Technical Skills**:

- Strong knowledge of networking protocols such as ISIS, OSPF, and BGP.
- Experience with routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN gateways.
- Proficiency in managing and maintaining servers (file servers, VPN, intrusion detection systems).
- Familiarity with software deployment, patch management, and system security.
- Hands-on experience with desktop computers, printers, IP communications, and mobile devices (smartphones, PDAs).

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
