This role involves enforcing safe work systems, providing safe equipment and environment, and ensuring employees are well-informed, trained, and supervised.

Responsibilities include:

- Striving for zero injuries and ensuring safety incidents are fully investigated.
- Supervising staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluation, compensation recommendations, and disciplinary actions.
- **Managing a team of 12-14 (operators, supervisor, engineer & admin) to ensure efficient production operations** and customer satisfaction.
- Promoting a continuous improvement culture and high morale.
- Supporting Operational Supervisors/Team Leaders with their direct reports.
- Delivering the production plan on time and with desired quality.
- Working with the Quality team to investigate quality incidents, improve equipment and processes, and resolve product rework timely.
- Ensuring accurate performance data is collated and manufacturing efficiencies are improved.
- Continually reducing waste and ensuring accurate stock management.
- Ensuring adequate staffing levels and managing team performance.
- Encouraging Supervisors/Team Leaders and Operation personnel to participate in improvement initiatives.
- Preparing reports and participating in meetings.
- Liaising with other personnel and departments for smooth operations.
- Performing other assigned duties.

**Requirements**:

- Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
- Relevant experience in **chemical processing/paint/coating industry**:

- Good spoken English is a must.
- Must be willing to work in **Tuas, Singapore (Near 2nd link)**

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: RM23,000.00 - RM28,000.00 per month
