Job Description
**Job Objectives**:

- Develop and implement Public Relations & Media strategy for the airasia Super App in Malaysia & Singapore.
- Build the airasia Super App's reputation in both Malaysia & Singapore and ensure effective media coverage across all segments.
- Build and strengthen the profile for CEO of airasia Super App and all of its relevant spokespersons in Malaysia & Singapore.
**Reporting Line**:
This role will report directly to the Head of Communications, airasia Super App (Regional). There will be Executives / Senior Executives reporting to this role.
**Key Accountabilities (in Malaysia and Singapore)**:

- Ensure strong partnership with reporters, anchors, news desks, program managers, editors and columnist.
- To build a strong network of key influencers (especially travel & lifestyle category) in both Malaysia & Singapore.
- Prepare daily / weekly news monitoring report for the airasia Super App
- Draft & review press releases, speeches, briefing documents, media Q&A's, all other media documents for press conferences, interviews, etc.
- Organize press conferences, Radio & TV interviews and strengthen digital media presence for the airasia Super App
- Propose PR & Communications plans for the launch of new lines of businesses by the airasia Super App as well as roll out sustenance PR plans to maintain share of voice for various products and services by the super app.
- To coordinate & work alongside Regional & Group Comms of Capital A (holding company of airasia Super App) for press related matters and attend regional meetings and related events.
- Facilitation of content for photo / audio-video shoot for media related matters for the airasia Super App.
- Other ad-hoc projects as instructed by the Head of Department

**Requirements**:

- Degree holder in Communications, Broadcast Communications, Journalism, Media Arts or its equivalent.
- 5 - 10 years relevant working experience in PR agencies, or in-house brand. Those with experience in e-commerce industry, or worked in the media will have an added advantage.
- Excellent writing skills in English, and a good command of Bahasa Malaysia will be an added advantage. Ability to read & write in Mandarin/ Tamil will be beneficial too.
- Possess a passport and willing to travel (both domestically and internationally).
