The Warehouse Clerk at Glades Guppy Packaging plays a crucial role in managing and resolving stock issues to ensure the efficient operation of our warehouse. This position involves overseeing inventory levels, processing orders, and maintaining accurate records, with a specific focus on addressing any discrepancies or issues related to stock.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Inventory Management**: Monitor and maintain inventory levels, ensuring that stock is accurately recorded and properly stored.
- **Stock Issue Resolution**: Identify, investigate, and resolve stock discrepancies, such as mismatches between physical inventory and system records. This includes coordinating with other departments to rectify any issues.
- **Order Processing**: Accurately pick, pack, and label products according to customer orders and company standards, while ensuring that stock levels are sufficient to meet demand.
- **Shipping & Receiving**: Assist in the loading and unloading of shipments, verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing orders, and ensure that stock is correctly allocated.
- **Record Keeping**: Maintain detailed records of inventory movements, stock issues, and order fulfillment to support accurate reporting and analysis.
- **Quality Control**: Inspect products for defects or damages before shipping and address any stock issues that may impact quality.
- **Safety Compliance**: Follow all safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and your colleagues.
- **Equipment Operation**: Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, in a safe and efficient manner (if certified).
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with the warehouse team, inventory control specialists, and other departments to ensure timely and accurate resolution of stock issues.
- **Computer Literacy**: Use warehouse management systems and software, including Odoo and AutoCount, to track inventory, process orders, and resolve stock discrepancies. Basic computer skills are essential for data entry and communication.
**Qualifications**:
- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred, particularly in handling stock issues or inventory control. Experience with Odoo and AutoCount is a plus.
- **Skills**: Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, basic computer literacy, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- **Team Player**: Ability to work well in a team and communicate effectively with colleagues and supervisors.
- **Adaptability**: Willingness to take on additional tasks as needed to support the overall operation.
Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,100.00 per month
