**Accountant (Branch Setup Experience Required)**

Location: Pasir Gudang

**Salary**: RM3,500 - RM7,000

**Key Responsibilities**

**Full Set of Accounts**
- Handle AR, AP, GL, bank reconciliations, and journal entries
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports

**Branch Setup (Critical)**
- **Play a key role in setting up new branches**: chart of accounts, tax registration, accounting systems configuration
- Coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure smooth financial and operational setup
- Prior experience in branch or entity setup is a **must**

**Manufacturing Accounting**
- Monitor costing activities for raw materials, WIP, and finished goods
- Assist with BOM costing, overhead allocation, and production cost analysis
- Reconcile system inventory with physical counts

**Budgeting & Forecasting**
- Assist in preparing budgets and forecasts
- Monitor and report on budget vs actual

**Audit & Tax**
- Support audit processes and liaise with auditors and tax agents
- Ensure compliance with SST, income tax, and statutory requirements

**Internal Controls**
- Maintain sound accounting procedures and controls
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- **3-5 years experience in a similar role** (manufacturing industry preferred)
- **Must have hands-on experience supporting new branch/entity setup**:

- Proficient in accounting systems (SQL, SAP, Oracle, AutoCount)
- Strong knowledge of full set of accounts and tax compliance
- Detail-oriented, analytical, and independent
- Good communication and coordination skills

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
