Finance & Account Manager

We are looking for a motivated and dynamic Account Executive with 3-4 years of experience to join our team and help manage client relationships, drive growth, and ensure satisfaction.

**Role Overview**:As an Account & Finance Executive, you will be responsible for handling day-to-day financial activities, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and assisting with audits. You will work closely with the finance team and other departments to ensure that financial records are accurate and up-to-date. This position requires a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **Accounting & Financial Reporting**:

- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts and ensure the accuracy of financial transactions.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, including profit and loss statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and internal financial controls.
- Assist with the preparation of financial statements and reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- **Accounts Payable & Receivable**:

- Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Verify and process invoices, ensuring that expenses are recorded accurately and on time.
- Follow up on overdue accounts and communicate with clients regarding outstanding balances.
- Assist in managing vendor relationships and resolving discrepancies.
- **Budgeting & Forecasting**:

- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
- Track actual spending against budgets and assist in variance analysis.
- Provide financial insights to assist management in decision-making.
- **Cash Flow Management**:

- Monitor daily cash balances and ensure sufficient liquidity to meet operational needs.
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and report discrepancies to senior management.
- Support the management of banking relationships and cash management processes.
- **Tax Compliance & Audits**:

- Support the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with local and federal tax regulations.
- Assist in the preparation for external audits, ensuring all required documentation is provided in a timely manner.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of tax laws and accounting regulations.
- **Financial Analysis**:

- Perform financial analysis to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
- Provide support in analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business strategy and decision-making.
- Assist in providing recommendations for process improvements and cost control.

**Qualifications**:

- 3-4 years of experience in accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles (GAAP), financial reporting, and budgeting.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xeersoft / QuickBooks, Xero, SAP) and Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel) is an advantage.
- Familiarity with tax preparation, audits, and regulatory compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.

**Preferred Skills**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is a plus.
- Experience with financial modeling and forecasting.
- Knowledge of industry-specific financial regulations (if applicable).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
