About the job
- Ensure compliance with all relevant Corporate Procurement guidelines and policies (e.g. Code of Conduct, NDA, Sourcing Contracts)
- Follow the frameworks and guidelines of Category and Material Group Managers and deal with local needs
- Purchasing in alignment within the frame of value limits as defined in the Corporate Procurement Guidelines. Select suppliers, communicate and participate in concluding contracts with suppliers (deliverables, payment terms, legal check, SLA’s, KPI’s, etc.). Solicit, track, collect supplier quotes and prepare for review with business. Perform 1/3bids&buy
- Contribute to supplier evaluation
- Monitor/Manage supplier information and master data
- Basic product costing and packaging price distribution
- Participation in re-negotiation or termination of existing contracts if needed, according to assigned value limits and collaboration with sourcing
- Build, document and continuously update defined market and product knowledge for goods and services
- Support defined users to specify the demand with all relevant procurement aspects
- Support business in setting up shopping carts
- Liaise with end-users to address delivery queries and quality issues
- Ensure close collaboration with the local country organization and Spokes.
- Major use of the operative purchasing systems (e.g. SAP SRM/Livelink/Ariba/Centric)
- Use purchasing system, increase number of purchase orders in the purchasing system, identify proactively possibilities to improve the ordering process
- Support material groups/categories in claim management matters and handle day to day claims
- Collaborate with suppliers to identify sourcing opportunities
- Support inventory and production processes

About you

We are looking for a unique and amazing talent, who brings along the following:

- 3-5 years of experience in a similar role
- Degree in business administration or similar education
- Fluent in English, Mandarin or Thai language capabilities is a plus
- Procurement know-how and experience
- Knowledge in product costing
- Strong analysis skills
- Market and product know-how (material group specific)
- SAP and/or Ariba Knowledge
- Commercial know-how
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Team oriented, strong collaborator and convincing
- Business sense
- Negotiating skills
- Reliability and integrity
