**Job Description: Sales Internship**

**Position**: Sales Intern
**Location**: Al-Mathaam Syed Sdn Bhd, Station 18, Ipoh
**Duration**: 3-6 months
**Reports To**: General Manager

**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Sales Intern to join our team. This internship is designed to provide hands-on experience in sales, marketing, and customer relationship management within the restaurant industry. The intern will work closely with our sales and marketing teams to attract new customers, boost reservations, and promote special events and services.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist in identifying and targeting potential clients for group bookings, events, and catering services.
- Support the development and execution of sales strategies to meet revenue targets.
- Promote and sell Mathaam Restaurant’s signature biryani paste to customers and businesses.
- Help maintain and update customer databases and CRM systems.
- Conduct market research and analyze competitors to identify new opportunities.
- Assist in organizing and promoting special events, tastings, and seasonal promotions.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create and distribute promotional materials.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Track and report on sales performance and marketing activities.

**Qualifications**:

- Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Marketing, Business, Hospitality, or a related field.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Passion for sales and the hospitality industry.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with CRM tools.
- Social media savvy with a basic understanding of digital marketing strategies.
- Flexible schedule, including availability for evenings and weekends, if required.
