Assembly Technician

RESPONSIBILITIES : '¢ Plan and organize the assembly project activities with relevant parties including assembly team lead,final test machine set-up team, material controller, ware house, purchasing, project manager, engineering, QA; within the project scope and due date. '¢ Execute the assembly project activities according to the plan and follow the manufacturing escalation process in case of out of plan and issue happening. '¢ Perform the assembly module incoming inspection, module customization,module integration & validation using checklists with accuracy; having zero defect goal in mind. '¢ Perform the close loop with assembly lead for project start-up and priority;having on time delivery and zero defect goal in mind. '¢ Perform the assembly on specific customer requirements with accuracy; having zero defect goal in mind. '¢ Perform the close loop with material controller for outstanding parts to ensure it arrives on time ,having on time delivery goal in mind. '¢ Perform the close loop with ware house for project release date and outstanding parts arrival date ; having one time delivery goal in mind. '¢ Perform the close loop with purchaser for QID parts arrival date ;having on time delivery and zero defect goal in mind. '¢ Perform close loop with final test setup team to ensure machine assembly preparation is ready for set-up according to schedule and to invlove in continuous improvement ; having zero defect goal in mind. '¢ Perform close loop with final test lead to ensure machine assembly preparation support requested by final test;having on time delivery and zero defect goal in mind. '¢ Perform close loop with engineering team for part with design issue and to ensure continuous improvement on design rules/template (mechanical, hardware and software ); having zero defect goal in mind. '¢ Perform close loop with project management team to ensure project progress follow schedule and involve in continuous improvement on customer requirements; having on time delivery and zero defect goal in mind. '¢ Perform log-in of all issues into the issue-tracking-database for Kaizen purpose; having zero defect goal in mind. '¢ Perform task using correct tools, jigs and instruction. Correct tools refers to calibrated measuring tools and control documents. '¢ Initiate to learn and improve skill competency over times; align to annual training matrix. '¢ Perform 5S practice daily at the working area. Upkeep and maintain tools and jig always in good condition. '¢ Ensure material with clear identification and arrange orderly. '¢ Ensure to follow safe work procedurs and to use personal protective equipment ( safety boots, ear plug, safety glasses,face mask ) according to safety instruction. '¢ To support field service job if required. Travelling within the country or oversea is required from time to time but limited to less than 10 trips per year. '¢ To align with company vision-mission-annual plan; provide full support to ensure success. '¢ Execute any other tasks assigned by the supervisor from time to time.
