Environmental Officer

**Job Descriptions**
- Coordinates the Project Management Team on all matters related to environment including statutory laws and regulations in relation to all activities of the project.
- Conduct Aspect Impact and Weekly Environmental Inspection and take preventive action in environmental matters.
- Monitor and supervise the activities of environmental program and also provide supervision and coordinate the activities with the supervisors.
- Maintains records concerning environmental matters of the projects.
- Conducts investigation on environmental accidents, incidents and near misses.
- Liaise with client, sub-contractors, government bodies and local authorities on all environmental matters.
- Ensure environmental quality monitoring being conducted as scheduled.
- Create solutions to environmental problems.
- Build upon existing solutions to make them better.
- Conduct hazardous waste management studies.
- Evaluate significance of hazards and determine proper disposal and management methods.
- Advise on treatment and containment.
- Develop regulations to prevent catastrophes.
- Participate in the clean-up of hazardous sites.
- To prepare documents related to environment monitoring and compliance.
- To ensure compliance with Safety, Health and Environment (S.H.E) policies and procedures.
- Any other duties as assigned by the Superior and/or the Management.

**Job Requirements**
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Environmental Engineering or in related industry
- Posses 3-5 years experience in construction sites, experience in **highway**project will be an added advantages.
- Must have certificates in CESSWI / CISEC / CEPSWAM
- Able to work in Gua Musang, Kelantan.
- Able to work 6 days per week. (Saturday - Thursday)
