- This is a KOL & Community Manager role for Garena’s new game operations team
- Plan and execute innovative campaigns in partnership with gaming KOLs and strategic partners to enhance brand impacts of the game
- Track and analyze gaming KOL performance metrics to assess KPIs, optimizing strategies with regular KOL review based on data insights
- Manage gaming KOLs in Malaysia by having local online or offline activation, building and maintaining a comprehensive database of KOLs
- Cultivate relationships with gaming community champions, including micro-KOLs and community leaders, with a focus on both the growth and quality of engagement within these communities.
- Learn the gaming community landscape - understand their social behavior, understand their gaming behavior, and identify the community champions
- Manage an end-to-end KOL grooming program to nurture and support their growth within the brand community
- Execute gaming community activation across social platforms to grow the size and quality of our community. This includes organizing online tournaments, online competitions, and offline tournaments
- Conduct basic user research (FGD/IDI) on certain topics such as product feedback, campaign evaluation, etc.
- Support game operation projects such as payment tests in Malaysia, Game Localization, and other ad hoc tasks
**Requirements**:
- Highly passionate about games with a good knowledge of the gaming industry in Singapore, Malaysia, Philippines region, notably in Malaysia; having a deep curiosity for game products and the industry's best practice
- Minimum 1 year of work experience in KOL management
- Native Malaysian speaker with proficient English reading, writing, and communication skills.
- Having a keen interest in tracking current trends across social media and digital marketing through monitoring community discussion and interacting with the community
- Ability to measure social media engagement for basic analysis
- Experience managing community channels, with the ability to build, grow, and nurture relationships within online communities. Prior experience in community-building is a plus.
- Ability to independently execute projects with clear briefs and timelines
- Authorized to work in Malaysia and willing to work fulltime in office
- Daily user of Tiktok with a good understanding of user behavior on this platform
- Having network / connection with esports / influencer communities is preferred
