**About Greenpeace Southeast Asia**
Greenpeace is a global independent campaigning organization that acts to change attitudes and behavior to protect and conserve the environment, and to promote peace. In Southeast Asia, we empower people and communities to lead the movement for a green, just and peaceful future — holding governments and corporations accountable for their environmental impact.
**Position / Role Overview**
As a Direct Dialogue Campaigner (Face to Face Fundraiser), you will act as a public representative of Greenpeace, engaging with members of the public to raise awareness of our environmental campaigns and inspire individual support. Your role will directly contribute to our fundraising efforts, helping Greenpeace remain independent, impactful, and people-powered.
This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about environmental change, enjoy engaging conversations, and are motivated by performance-based work in a flexible, dynamic environment.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct face-to-face conversation with members of the public in strategic locations (e.g. malls, airports, public events, and street campaigns) to effectively communicate Greenpeace’s mission and environmental campaigns.
- Motivate individuals to contribute as regular donors, thereby supporting Greenpeace’s ongoing work and independence.
- Represent Greenpeace with integrity, professionalism, and enthusiasm in all public interactions.
- Meet or exceed individual and team fundraising targets as outlined by the Fundraising Team Leader and Fundraising Manager.
- Participate in regular campaign briefings, skill-building workshops, and team development sessions.
- Accurately record supporter information and maintain confidentiality and data integrity.
- Uphold Greenpeace’s ethical fundraising standards and values in all outreach activities.
**Required Skills**:
- Demonstrated passion for environmental and social justice causes.
- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated, resilient, and results-oriented with the ability to work toward daily and weekly goals.
- Comfortable working in outdoor or high-traffic environments and engaging with diverse audiences.
- A strong team player with a collaborative mindset.
- Prior experience in fundraising, sales, promotions, public engagement, or customer service is an advantage, but not mandatory — comprehensive training will be provided.
- Willingness to travel locally (within Malaysia) as needed for campaign assignments.
**What We Offer**
- An opportunity to contribute meaningfully to one of the world’s most recognized environmental organizations.
- Competitive base salary with travel allowance and performance-based incentives.
- Extensive training and professional development opportunities.
- Supportive and inclusive team culture.
- Pathways for career growth within the fundraising team and broader Greenpeace network.
