**Responsibilities**:
**THE ROLE**:
Provide financial support for a dedicated team within AMD.

**THE PERSON**:
You are a results-oriented self-starter with excellent communication skills. You possess attention to detail and well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills. You have the ability to adapt to changing priorities and are comfortable with ambiguity.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Maintaining financial models essential for quarterly, annual, and long-term planning concerning Cost of Goods Sold, operating expenses, and capital expenses.
- Assisting in the intra-quarter forecast/outlook process.
- Conducting month-end close procedures, including expense reviews, accruals/reclassifications, and the preparation of supporting schedules.
- Performing detailed expense variance analyses between actual results and forecasts, and providing recommendations for cost control.
- Compiling inventory reconciliations.
- Generating reports, both scheduled and ad-hoc, to support financial analysts and/or the leadership team.

**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE**:

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools such as MS Word, Advanced MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills necessary for managing various initiatives.
- Sound understanding of financial concepts and financial modeling.
- Analytical mindset, attention to detail, proactive approach, self-motivation, and the ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English.

**ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS**:

- A degree in Accounting/Finance or relevant professional qualifications.
