**Job Title: Pharmacy Assistant**

**Location: Georgetown, Penang**

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist the Pharmacist in preparing, labeling, and dispensing medications to patients accurately and efficiently.
- Provide information to customers on the proper use of over-the-counter (OTC) medications and general health advice.
- Maintain stock levels by receiving, organizing, and monitoring inventory to avoid shortages or expired items.
- Assist in the management of controlled drugs according to legal and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pharmacy workspace.
- Support administrative duties such as prescription filing, data entry, billing, and insurance claims processing.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and uphold professional standards of care at all times.
- Follow all safety protocols and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Pharmacist or Pharmacy Manager.

**Requirements**:

- **Certificate**or **Diploma in Pharmacy / Health Sciences or equivalent.**:

- At least 1 year of relevant working experience in a pharmacy, clinic, or hospital setting (preferred).
- Basic understanding of medications, pharmacy operations, and customer service.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work independently under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
- Proficient in Bahasa Malaysia and English (Mandarin or Tamil is an added advantage).
- Willing to work on shifts, weekends, or public holidays if required.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM2,200.00 - RM2,800.00 per month
