Carpenter

Salary Package: RM 8,000 to RM12000 per month (Negotiable)

Working Location: Chennai or Pune in India

Working Days & Hours: 8.30am-5.30pm (Mon - Saturday)

- Read blueprints, drawings or sketches to fully understand the requirements
- Taking measurements and calculating the size and amount of material needed
- Shaping and smoothing the materials
- Cut wood according to specified designs, and put planks together to make items such as chairs, beds and sofas.
- Nail parts together by using hand-held hammers, and ensure that any loose edges are smoothed over.
- Check items to ensure that they have been made according to design
- Make customized sofa foaming
- Produce the wooden structure
- Follow the company’s policies and procedures to perform the daily tasks

Job requirement
- Willing to work overtime as needed
- Have at least 3 years of experience in manufacturing furniture, especially the sofas
- Possess deep understanding of the materials to produce furniture
- Able to share the experience and techniques with the colleagues in India
- Familiar with the operation in furniture factory
