**Description**:
**The Role**:

- Pipe Support Designer is responsible for all piping support design activities and deliverables. The Pipe Support Designer reports directly to the Piping Support DLE. Besides this role on a project, a Pipe Support Designer is also responsible for the improvement of the Piping support design with respect to design quality and efficiency

**Requirements / Responsibilities**:

- Adherence to company procedures Group Engineering Standard (GES) and Group Engineering Guideline (GEG).
- Able to plan and work independently, reporting progress and schedule to Piping Support Lead.
- Preparation, Review & Approval of all design documents / drawings as per project deliverables list.
- Understands detailing of Pipe supports in 3D & 2D
- Develop and maintain Pipe Support Index.
- Monitoring job progress, identifying slippage and shortcomings and setting solutions and remedies in consultation with Piping Support Lead.
- Able to familiarize quickly SBM GTS and ensure the full compliances.
- Understand very well Process Line List.
- Able to provide input and excellent communication to piping design team.
- 3D software work experience is a must**:Aveva E3D & AutoCAD**:

- Should be an effective Team player, capable of working with Multi-National Clients and possess good communication skills.

**Education**:
Diploma in Plant Design Technology as minimum. A Bachelor degree of Mechanical Engineering is acceptable.

**Experience**:
Min. 5 years relevant experience in the offshore Oil & Gas industry working with international companies involved in Concept/FEED/Detail Design & EPC Projects of Piping for Offshore Oil and Gas facilities - Wellhead platforms, Fixed Process Platforms, FPSO topsides modules & Turret Mooring System, TLPs & Semi-submersibles. You bring a strong decision-making skill within a global matrix organization
