**Responsibilities**:
**THE ROLE**:
AMD is looking to hire SAP professionals with experience in SD and FICO domain. They will support AMD IT initiatives for supporting Finance, Revenue, Supply Chain operations. Through direct interaction with stakeholders and internal business partners, the person will help drive IT alignment with the team's goals and business needs. Provide guidance on Finance business processes, from process design through to process execution.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- This highly skilled position has an emphasis on delivering accuracy and quality work. The ABAP Lead and his team of developers will have a good business background and be able to communicate and understand the business requirements related to the developments for both implementation and support.
- Provides technical support and to lead SAP ABAP team including establishing standards on getting requirements from functional team.
- Should evaluate the solutions and directing enhancements and implementing solutions for performances and ensure standards in design and implementation.
- Planning on project requirements, design, developments and testing.
- Technical COE to govern the modifications towards high standards and ensure no operational impact during transportation of objects.
- Manage Critical issues to handle in a quick turnaround time to ensure business continuity by providing technical fixes.
- Daily support for global sites to fix issues and enhance existing procedures. Analysis and documentation of complex coding for SAP S4 HANA SD/FI/CO modules
- Understand and document technical requirements, perform customer knowledge transfer.
- Work within a group of ABAPs consultant(s) and coordinate work with other module leads/consultants
- Take lead of S/4 HANA upgrade Requirements and overall road map preparation and execution
- Assist Project Manager or lead project as project manager in related areas as required.

**PREFERRED EXPERIENCE**:

- 5 years of hands-on SAP development and implementation work experience in S4 HANA/ ECC6
- Extensive experience in ABAP Development using ABAP Workbench including development involving ALE/IDOC, BADI’s, BDC, ALV SAP Forms and FIORI
- ABAP development experience in FICO, SD, MM, WM modules
- Experience in Design, build, working in SAP S4 HANA system with integration to other systems.
- Basic knowledge on HANA DB Administration
- Knowledge of MDG and debugging PI/PO middle layer data issues
- SAP ABAP related Certifications

**ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS**:

- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering
