Supervisor - Oil & Gas

Responsibilities: - As a Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the daily operations of our oil and gas projects in Malaysia. Your primary duties will include: - Leading and managing a team of technicians and operators in executing project plans, ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and within budget. - Providing guidance, support, and training to team members to enhance their technical skills and knowledge. - Monitoring project progress, identifying any issues or obstacles, and implementing corrective actions to meet project objectives and deadlines. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including engineers, contractors, and vendors, to ensure seamless project execution. - Ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and company policies. - Conducting regular inspections and audits to assess safety and quality performance, and implementing measures for continuous improvement. - Managing project documentation, including reports, work orders, and equipment maintenance records. - Developing and maintaining strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and stakeholders in Malaysia. Requirements: - To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills: - Bachelor's degree in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. -Relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. - Proven experience in the oil and gas industry, with a minimum of 5 years in a supervisory or leadership role. - Strong technical knowledge of oil and gas operations, including drilling, production, and maintenance. - Excellent leadership abilities, with a track record of effectively managing teams and driving performance. - In-depth understanding of safety regulations, industry standards, and best practices. - Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. - Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships at all levels. - Proficiency in using industry-specific software and tools.
