IT BUSINESS ANALYST

**JOB DESCRIPTION**

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our software

technical solutions, ensuring that software products meet both functional requirements and

business objectives. You will work closely with stakeholders, product owners, and development

teams to gather requirements, analyse processes, and ensure successful project delivery.

Main Accountabilities
- Gather, analyse and document requirements from stakeholders.
- Translate business needs into clear, actionable technical requirements.
- Collaborate with product owners and development teams to ensure successful project

delivery.
- Document processes and requirements using tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Ensure software products meet business objectives and functional requirements.
- Participate in agile practices such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and coordinate with both business and development

teams.

Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Computer Science,

or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst in software

development project.
- Proven track record in requirements gathering, process mapping, and documentation.
- Experience working in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban).

Must-Have Skills
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst in software development project, preferably with

background in programming and system development.
- Proficient in writing documentation such as business requirements documents (BRDs),

functional specifications, and use cases.
- In-depth knowledge of the software development life cycle (SDLC) and ability to contribute

to all phases, from planning to delivery.
- Solid understanding of business operations and how software solutions drive improvements

and efficiency.
- Strong background in requirements gathering, business process modelling, and creating

user stories.
- Experience in user acceptance testing (UAT), coordinating with both business and

development teams for effective testing.
- Ability to analyse data and provide insights for data-driven decision making.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to

non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in working in an agile team structure and using Agile project management

tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
- Familiarity with UI/UX principles and working with design teams to ensure seamless user

experiences.
- Knowledge of cloud technologies (e.g., GCP, AWS) and understanding how they impact

business solutions.

Experience

Preferably 5-7 years of experience in a similar size organisation and/or similar industry

**Job Type**: Contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: RM11,500.00 - RM14,000.00 per month
