Hostel Warden(Male)

1) To solve the day to day problems of the hostel working and the issues of students of the hostel as regards hostel facilities.
2) Reporting the cases of serious indiscipline to the Head of Department for further action.
3) Regular visit to hostel for better interaction with the students and monitoring the various activities of the students.
4) Allotment of rooms to the students, to maintain overall ambiance of the hostel premises and to ensure proper maintenance and cleanliness of the rooms and hostel premises through the provided staff.
5) Responsible for general welfare of students in the hostel.
6) Escorting sick students to the Hospital, if there is a need.
New Era University College(Owned by New Era Edu Sdn Bhd) is a great achievement of the Chinese community in Malaysia. Established in 1998, New Era was finally upgraded to university college by the Ministry of Higher Education on 29th December 2016 after many years of
strenuous efforts, commitment and perseverance. As a university college, New Era
will be able to develop and soar to a greater height in the future. We have three faculties with nine different departments. The three faculties are Arts& Social Sciences, Media & Creative Art, and Business & Information Technology. The nine departments include Chinese Language & Literature, Guidance & Counselling Psychology, Education, Media Studies, Art & Design, Drama & Visuals, Business Studies, Finance & Accounting, and Computer Science & Information
Technology. The master's and doctorate programmes will be offered in the near
future.
In 2015, New Era University College set up the Tan Lark Sye Research Institute to
enhance the research on matters related to the Chinese community in the country. This
will further lead to more extensive research on Chinese education in Southeast Asia
and subsequently connect to the rest of the world. The goal of New Era University
College is to begin the first step in New Era, take root in Southeast Asia and embrace
the world in order to build a strong foundation for Chinese education through the
establishing of a reputable university.
