Pharmacy Assistant

'¢ Promote Vitamin Supplements, Over-The-Counter products to customers '¢ Receive, store and inventory pharmacy supplies within specified guidelines. '¢ Perform clerical support; answers telephone inquiries, files, compiles and maintains accurate prescription records and database. '¢ Accept prescriptions for screening for medications errors, filling, gathering and processing necessary information. '¢ Administrative procedures like requests, requisitions, preparation, authorization & approvals, acknowledgements and counter checks '¢ Assist pharmacists with customer service and various administrative duties. '¢ Handle emergency situations with ease. '¢ Merchandising; stocking shelves and taking inventory; '¢ Establishing and maintaining customer account information '¢ Managing a cash register '¢ Maintain a clean and organized environment at all times.
