We are a well-established and dynamic company specialising in the sale, rental and services (re-conditioning) of new and used construction machinery and equipment.

We are now looking for experience Workshop Manager to join our team

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the workshop, including scheduling work and prioritizing tasks.
- Coordinate with the purchasing department, storekeeper, and other stakeholders to ensure timely completion of work.
- Hires, trains, motivates, counsels and monitors the performance of all service department staff.
- Implement and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for efficiency and quality assurance.
- Develop and implement effective marketing and sales strategies to promote service department business and increase revenue.
- Maintains high-quality service repairs and minimizes comebacks.
- Control budgets and resources and make sure customer requirements for service are covered and completed.
- Manage inventory levels, order spare parts, and negotiate with vendors.
- Adhere to government regulations, safety protocols, and environmental policies.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or related field or experience.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a mechanical engineering workshop, with at least 5 years in a supervisory/managerial role.
- Strong technical knowledge of engine diagnostics, repair, and maintenance.
- Strong customer service skills and ability to manage client expectations.
- Ability to manage budgets, inventory, and operational costs.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Able to speak Chinese, English & Malay.
