Purchasing Assistant

**Responsibilities**:

- Sourcing for new product when receive purchasing request from NPI, Engineering, Project, Sales etc.,
- Sourching potential suppliers and new technologies scouting
- Work with QA/SQE to qualify suppliers through Supplier Quality audits and continuously review supplier performance
- Submission new vendors list for management approval
- Ensure timely project start up at optimum cost in terms of materials and tooling
- Monitor overall supplier capacity in a monthly basis to ensure smooth production
- Develop excellent working relationship with both internal and external customers as well as suppliers
- Maintain supplier relationships in order to drive cost reductions while continually achieving the highest level of quality material
- End to end responsibilities includes delivery, quality, payment issue to ensure smooth supply to production
- Participate in cost reduction activities
- Perform ad hoc duties and any other job instruction from time to time

**Requirements**:

- Certificate / Diploma / Degree in any field
- Min 3 years' working experience in buying / sourcing aspects or other related field
- Strong analytical, sourcing, good communication and excellent negotiations skills
- Preferably specializing in Purchasing with aggressive & proactive attitude
- Accountable, integrity & pleasant personality
